InsanelyCheapFlights is entering the packaged travel market with its new offerings of bundled airfare and hotel rooms. While the site previously offered deals on each separately, these travel options can now be booked together. Generally, package deals can save travelers hundreds of dollars over booking a flight and hotel separately. In addition to flights and hotels, travelers can also choose to rent a car for the duration of their trip from several major rental companies.
The change is a significant one for the site, which was founded 3 years ago with a singular focus on finding cheap airfare for its visitors. The approach helped the company grow rapidly in the crowded online travel industry, and now InsanelyCheapFlights is looking to repeat this success in the packaged travel business. “Understandably, a lot of people think we only offer cheap flights,” says CEO Steve Oliverez. “We want them to know that not only can we get you there cheaply, but also find you a place to stay at a great rate.”
Travel packages on the site include deals to many popular destinations, such as trips to Las Vegas, Cancun, or even Paris. The site also offers cheap tickets to many activities at available destinations, such as sunset luaus in Maui, dinner cruises on the Thames in London, and skip-the-line tours of the Vatican in Rome. Even airport parking can be now be purchased from the site, making nearly every aspect of travel bookable on InsanelyCheapFlights.com.
“Of course we still have cheap flights,” says Oliverez. As part of a broader sale, InsanelyCheapFlights is currently offering up to $20 off airline tickets to many destinations on its site. Visitors are given a promotional code that can be used while booking flights separately and applies to service fees. The sale is currently scheduled to run through the end of April.
